A free Saturday morning doubles ladder at Bishop Field Tennis Courts. All levels welcome (mostly beginner to intermediate). Six Saturday mornings, July 11 through August 15, and a standing excuse to get outside and play.

The League

How it works

It's a ladder league: your results each Saturday decide which group you play in the next. The format keeps matchups close and the mornings social — no playoffs to chase, no pressure to be great.

Step 1

Join a group

Everyone is placed in one of four skill-balanced groups of 4-5 players. Each Saturday you play a doubles round-robin against everyone in your group.

Step 2

Earn points

Every point your team scores counts toward your individual tally. Win 11–8 and both partners bank 11 points — points, not wins, set your rank.

Step 3

Move on the ladder

After each week, the top 1–2 in each group move up and the bottom 1–2 move down. New week, new group, new matchups.

Step 4

Report your scores

Text your scores to us or use the score form after you play. Updated standings go out by email before the next Saturday.

All levels welcome — mostly beginner to intermediate. Cap of 20 regular participants. Priority given to people who can make most weekends; missing some weeks is fine.
